What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and implement a national sales strategy to drive revenue growth across key markets in the U.S.
- Lead, mentor, and support a distributed sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wine collectors, industry partners, and high-value private clients.
- Identify opportunities to expand the client base and strengthen market presence within the fine wine community.
- Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue reporting to track performance and growth.
- Introduce and refine sales processes, pricing structures, and client acquisition strategies.
- Work closely with marketing teams to support targeted campaigns, industry events, and lead generation initiatives.
- Collaborate with operational and client service teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.
- Represent the organisation at wine industry events, collector gatherings, and networking opportunities.
- Monitor market activity, competitor positioning, and emerging trends within the fine wine industry.
- Recruit and onboard sales professionals aligned with national growth objectives.
- Develop performance dashboards and reporting structures to maintain visibility across sales operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working within the fine wine industry, including wine sales, wine production, wine distribution, or wine-related luxury services.
- 7–10+ years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success developing and executing national or multi-market sales strategies.
- Strong relationship-building skills with experience working with wine collectors, distributors, or high-net-worth clients.
- Experience managing CRM systems, forecasting pipelines, and analysing sales performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
