This role is perfect for someone experienced in setting up export consolidations, particularly to North America, and who understands international shipping processes and documentation. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Set up general export consolidations, particularly for shipments to the USA and Canada.
- Manage export bookings and coordinate pickups efficiently.
- Prepare and issue export quotations to clients.
- Handle all aspects of the export process from initial enquiry to final delivery.
- Ensure all required documentation for ISF and customs clearance is accurately prepared.
- Liaise with clients, shipping lines, and partners to manage schedules and ensure smooth operations.
- Work closely with customs brokers and freight agents to ensure compliance with export regulations.
- Monitor and track all export shipments, providing updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the trainee team member and collaborate with a growing logistics team.
- Keep current with industry regulations and best practices.
- Accurately maintain export data within internal systems.
- Resolve any client or shipment issues proactively.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in export operations, especially involving consolidations to North America.
- Strong understanding of the export process and international shipping documentation.
- Ability to quote, book, and coordinate international export shipments.
- Familiarity with ISF requirements and customs clearance documentation.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
