International Move Coordinator – Remote, US

Join a well-established moving and relocation company as an International Move Coordinator. This is an exciting remote opportunity for a detail-oriented professional based in the US to manage and oversee international moves, ensuring a seamless relocation experience for clients. If you have a strong background in global moving services and enjoy coordinating logistics, documentation, and customer communication, this role is perfect for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Coordinate and manage international household goods moves from origin to destination.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their relocation needs, timelines, and special requirements.
  • Arrange transportation, customs clearance, and delivery schedules with global moving partners.
  • Ensure all required documentation, including customs paperwork and shipping forms, is completed accurately.
  • Track shipments and provide clients with timely updates on the status of their move.
  • Work closely with internal teams, agents, and freight forwarders to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Address any challenges, delays, or issues that arise during the move process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all moves, including cost estimates, invoices, and service agreements.
  • Stay up to date on international moving regulations, customs policies, and industry best practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and serve as the primary point of contact for international clients.
  • Collaborate with overseas agents to ensure a smooth transition for relocating customers.
  • Assist in resolving claims or disputes related to international shipments.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in international move coordination, relocation services, or freight forwarding preferred, with a strong preference for candidates with SIRVA experience.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, international shipping, and global logistics.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills to manage multiple moves simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in move management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt to challenges in a fast-paced environment.
