You will serve as your clients' primary point of contact during their relocation process as an international move coordinator. For clients worldwide, a seamless and stress-free moving experience will depend heavily on your proficiency in logistics management, advice, and clear communication.
Responsibilities of the International Move Coordinator role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage every facet of the overseas moving process while acting as the main point of contact for customers.
- Work together with internal groups and outside service providers to guarantee that movements are completed quickly and effectively.
- Create thorough relocation timetables, keep them up to date, and make sure deadlines are met.
- Offer clients advice on documentation, compliance needs, and customs rules.
- Create and oversee quotations, bills, and other moving-related financial records.
- Keep an eye on shipments and give clients frequent status reports.
- Professionally and quickly address any problems or hold-ups that occur throughout the moving procedure.
- Keep thorough and current records of all correspondence with clients, shipments, and paperwork.
- Establish and maintain solid ties with customers, partners, and suppliers.
- To consistently enhance service delivery, stay current on industry developments, laws, and best practices.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in international moving and relocation coordination or a related field, previous military relocation experience is ideal.
- Previous SIRVA work experience is ideal.
- Outstanding attention to detail and organising abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a client-centered approach.
- The capacity to prioritise, multitask, and perform well under duress.
- Knowledge of industry-specific applications and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- It is quite desirable to have knowledge of international shipping procedures and customs laws.
