Ideally, we'd love to speak with someone who knows the removals industry, but we're also open to people from similar backgrounds, such as transport, logistics or storage, who have the right experience and attitude.
You might already be running a branch and fancy a change, or perhaps you're an Assistant Branch Manager or Operations Manager who's ready to step up and take on more responsibility.
We're looking for someone who's hands-on, enjoys working with people and isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up when needed.
What You'll Be Doing
- Looking after the day-to-day running of the removals branch, making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
- Leading and supporting the team, keeping everyone motivated and working together.
- Managing removals staff, vehicles, schedules and resources to keep operations on track.
- Keeping an eye on costs, budgets and overall removals branch performance.
- Building good relationships with customers and helping the business grow.
- Making sure health and safety standards and relevant regulations are followed.
- Finding better ways of doing things and improving how the removals branch operates.
What We're Looking For
- Previous management experience, ideally within removals, but we'll also consider people from transport, logistics, storage or similar industries.
- Someone who's good with people and knows how to get the best out of a team.
- A practical problem-solver who can make decisions and keep things moving.
- Good organisational skills and an understanding of costs and business performance.
- Someone who takes pride in delivering great customer service.
- Most importantly, someone with the right attitude, a bit of drive and the confidence to take ownership of the branch.
