David Cohen is a Senior Talent Alchemist and a senior specialist recruiter with 9 years experience within the business. He has developed specific knowledge in a niche market and has the ability to adapt to changing sectors as well as evolving client needs.

David started his recruitment career specialising in Freight Forwarding recruitment gaining knowledge of Global Logistics, Supply Chains and International Trade. He then moved into the field of Customs and Trade Compliance Recruitment working with businesses requiring specialists in Regulatory and Compliance based environments.

With an in-depth knowledge of the markets of Freight Forwarding, Customs and Trade Compliance, David uses this knowledge to recruit for companies that operate within highly regulated industries.

He is a commercially focused person with strong relationships with clients across industry. David has been instrumental in the expansion of the company into global markets, and the development of specialist divisions within recruitment. He has extensive experience of Strategic Account Management, Business Development, Talent Sourcing, Market Mapping and account management on a long term basis.

One of David’s biggest achievements has been building Alchemy’s Aerospace & Defence recruitment division from the ground up. Focusing on recruitment of high-level technical and commercially-focused roles across the sector.

In his free time, David is passionate about an active healthy lifestyle, ensuring he has enough energy  for work, whilst maintaining a healthy balance of work & life.David’s interests include fishing, football, gym/fitness, pickle ball and more recently trying to find time for other outdoor activities.
