Steve Maples

Steve is an award-winning Chief Talent Alchemist at Alchemy Global Talent Solutions, where he heads up the Moving Services division and oversees the wider growth and performance of the business.

With more than 16 years of experience within the moving and relocation industry, Steve specialises in international hiring across household goods, commercial moving, and related sectors. Having previously worked within the sector himself, he brings a strong understanding of the operational challenges and talent needs across the industry.

In 2024, Steve was awarded Best Recruitment Consultant - Permanent at the Global Recruiter Awards and has completed management training focused on leadership, team development, and business performance. He regularly attends major industry conferences and networking events, including those hosted by the International Association of Movers (IAM) and FIDI Global Alliance, helping maintain strong relationships across the global moving community.

Outside of work, Steve is a proud dad to 3 children and in his spare time runs a motorbike group with more than 2,000 members and organises annual charity events supporting local hospitals through toy donations.
