Our client, a respected name in the moving and relocation industry, is urgently seeking a Residential Moving Coordinator to join their Houston, TX team. This full-time role focuses on household goods relocations and requires excellent coordination and communication skills. The ideal candidate will serve as the key liaison for residential customers, ensuring a seamless relocation experience from start to finish.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as the main point of contact for residential customers throughout the move process.
- Coordinate all aspects of household goods relocations from origin to destination.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation for each move file.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage all appointments related to the move.
- Communicate any schedule modifications to all involved parties promptly.
- Educate customers on the move process and provide necessary support.
- Ensure all activities comply with industry and contractual guidelines.
- Utilise Mover’s Suite software to manage and track move data.
- Monitor shipment processing and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with sales representatives, operations teams, and clients.
- Handle multiple relocations simultaneously with high attention to detail.
- Deliver outstanding customer service with a professional demeanour.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a professional customer service environment.
- Previous household goods moving experience is required.
- Proficiency with Mover’s Suite software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
- A team-oriented professional with a positive and confident attitude.
