We are looking for an experienced Senior Installation Manager to join our clients team in Dallas. This position is responsible for overseeing relocation and installation projects from planning through completion, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest standard.
The successful candidate will lead field teams, coordinate resources, manage client relationships, and ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving problems, managing people, and delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day execution of relocation and installation projects
- Plan project schedules, manpower requirements, equipment, and logistics
- Conduct site visits and pre-project surveys to assess requirements and identify potential challenges
- Coordinate installation crews, drivers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure furniture, equipment, and other assets are handled and installed correctly
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that may impact timelines or service levels
- Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates to management and clients
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety requirements
- Work closely with operations and sales teams to support project delivery
- Assist with recruiting, training, and developing installation personnel
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality
Requirements
- Previous experience in the moving, relocation, installation, workplace services, or related industry
- Proven experience leading teams and managing projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Customer-focused with a professional approach to client interactions
