What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-profile clients, overseeing all aspects of their international shipments.
- Generate estimates, initiate work orders, and ensure timely, compliant execution of shipments.
- Prepare all international shipping documentation and coordinate with internal and external partners.
- Liaise directly with clients, providing updates, solutions, and post-shipment support.
- Interface with regulatory agencies (Customs, TSA, USDA, FDA, etc.) to ensure full compliance.
- Maintain organised records of communications, documentation, and shipment progress.
- Collaborate with teams across the East, Central, and West Coast to support multi-regional projects.
- Provide in-person support at Los Angeles-area facilities for client meetings and operational coordination.
- Assist with vendor relationship management and departmental process improvements.
- Support the Head of International Shipping with operational tasks and quality control.
- Contribute to the development of SOPs and continuous process improvement strategies.
- Drive client satisfaction and long-term retention through proactive communication and service delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in international shipping or art logistics is essential.
- Strong knowledge of customs, import/export procedures, and TSA regulations.
- Excellent organisational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Capable of managing complex, high-value shipments under strict deadlines.
- Flexibility to support on-site needs in the Los Angeles area.
- Must have proven experience in the moving or relocation industry, especially in international logistics.
